9.30 - 9.45am SHARP - As we use another company for the transfers across Lake Manapouri, it is important you arrive on time. Unfortunately, the transer boat doesn't wait for you, so please don't be late!

During your cruise

We like to keep this relaxed. As the weather, dolphins and other things can suggest better plans to us as we go, we don't tie ourselves down to having to be anywhere at a particular time... apart from making sure we have a nice spot to stop for the night! 11.15 - 11.45am following day

Your Doubtful Sound cruise includes

Included in the price of your trip are the following:

  • All food (light lunch, dinner and breakfast).
    Note: if you have dietary requirements, please advise on booking (e.g. vegetarian)
  • Tea, coffee only
  • Fresh linen - Sheets, pillow case, towels and face cloth
  • Transfers from Manapouri to Doubtful Sound
  • Cruise and overnighting on Doubtful Sound
  • Kayaks (6 singles)
  • Fishing if you'd like to catch your own meal! We supply all fishing gear

What to bring

Take a moment to make sure you bring the folowing:

  • A change of clothing in an overnight bag
  • Clothing suitable for kayaking (if you intend to have a paddle)
  • Comfortable shoes
  • A water proof coat
  • A warm jacket
  • Insect repellant and sunscreen
  • Camera and lots of film (or disc space!)
  • Your favourite CDs or DVDs
  • Swimwear (optional)
  • BYO - bring along your favorite bottle of choice (wine/beer)
  • Your excitement and enthusiasm!
